The heart of this system is the Audiolab 7000A acting as the muscle for the Diamond 12.4 towers. By using the Douk VU-3 Pro, the user has solved the classic “integrated vs. AVR” dilemma, allowing the Denon to handle the cinematic heavy lifting while the Audiolab preserves the stereo imaging for pure music sessions via the WiiM Ultra.

The Space Challenge

While the surround placement (Diamond 12.0s) is tucked further back due to room constraints, the Denon X3800H’s room correction (likely Dirac or Audyssey XT32) helps bridge the gap. The SVS PB-1000 Pro provides that signature low-end tactile response that Wharfedales—known for their smooth, polite mids—sometimes need to really “wake up” in a large room.
